♠︎

Lead product designer with ten years experience between Italy, USA, and London specialized in UI andUX projects.

Graduated in 2008 at the European Institute of Design in Communication & Art Direction, I started right away working for a major agency, Martel Italy, as Art director Jr. where I joined the creative director and the graphic design team planning and developing both BTL and ATL ads for clients such as Doctors with no borders, Heineken, Audi, Three (telephone company).
Subsequently, with an established customer base package, I decided to start my own business and work as a freelancer in Milan.
Travelled to Silicon Valley in 2012 I spent time attending courses in various companies such as Google, ShazamDropbox, Microsoft Bing, IBM and the startup school "Mind the bridge" in San Francisco, all of them regarding UI/UX design and and obtained the HCI (Human-Computer interaction) certificate at the Stanford University.
Moved in London in 2013 to start a new adventure, I continued working as Senior Visual Designer for local clients and agencies developing apps, websites and Campaigns for Clients as McLaren, Coca-Cola, Lloyds Bank, Virgin Media, Op Bank, O2, Mayor of London and others. In August 2014, I had the pleasure to join permanently the creative team as Senior Product Designer at Unii Ltd, a London based startup, working on the Unii and the Fling app.

Lately, I've been Global Design manager at HomeAway, building and managing a team of 12 London based designers and other 7 worldwide based ones between US, Germany, Spain and France. This eventually expanded when I was asked to manage and lead the development team bringing the total number of managed people to 50.

Freelancing at the moment around London, working with agencies, directly with clients and for airlines designing inflight entertainment systems and websites, products that are now being used by more than 20 million people per year around the globe. One of them, AirTime, won the Crystal Cabin Award 2017 at the AIX convention in Hamburg.
